How different groups voted on Super Tuesday primary, according to exit polls

These preliminary results are from a survey of Republican primary voters as they exited randomly selected voting sites in Virginia, on March 5, 2024 and North Carolina Republican primary voters as they left early voting sites and on Election Day. The poll was conducted by Edison Research for the National Election Pool (ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC), The Washington Post and other media organizations. Results will be weighted to match vote tallies by region and to correct for differential participation by subgroup. In North Carolina, voters who did not vote for president were also included but are not shown in the graphic. Totals may not add to 100 percent because of rounding.
