It’s officially awards season and the celebrities are kicking it off in style!
On Sunday, Hollywood’s brightest stars made their way down the red carpet of the 2024 Golden Globes at the the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and the looks were undeniably show-stopping.
From the earliest arrivals, It was clear a night of glamour was ahead as the industry’s beloved performers dressed to the nines to celebrate television and film.
Barbie nominee Margot Robbie brought the doll’s signature shade to the red carpet in a hot pink custom Giorgio Armani Privé sequined gown and pink tulle boa inspired by the 1977 SuperStar Barbie doll.
Abbott Elementary nominee Quinta Brunson shimmered in a sparkling custom column gown by Balmain. America’s Got Talent judge Heidi Klum stood out in a red strapless ball gown with a beaded bodice. Rustin nominee Colman Domingo put his own spin on award show fashion with a black jacket and pants accessorized with brooches and an ode to his character.
“Today I will wear one of Bayard’s rings that were gifted to me from his dear Walter Naegle,” he explained in an Instagram post. “I am at the Golden Globes representing this incredible man and his legacy. @rustinmovie.”
Hosted by Jo Kay, the 81st ceremony features two new categories — Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television and Cinematic and Box Office Achievement — the latter of which includes nominee Barbie. The Greta Gerwig-directed fan favorite leads the pack of nominees this year with nine nods total, tying HBO’s hit series, Succession, which is celebrating its final season.
